How did we get here?

We are lucky.

So very lucky.

Lamorna is about community.

With that we have connected with some incredible farmers and purveyors that share the same values.

This allows us to cook freely and be consistently inspired by what is around us.

What has started as a casual catch up has evolved into a Restaurant.

Over the last few months we have converted "The Oar" to Lamorna. The space retains its rustic charm we just highlighted it.

Expect high quality cooking with familiar ingredients. For those who know me... Yes. Zhug. Yes Sticky toffee pudding.

Lamorna is a cove in Cornwall, Southwest England that i grew up near. The cove was memorable for its large rocky cliffs similar to that in Gravenhurst.

Lamorna was a popular summer destination for my family providing, swimming, fishing and occasional Brown crab diving.
